ELLINGTON, a township in the parish of WOODHORN,
eastern division of MORPETH ward, county of
NORTHUMBERLAND, 7 miles (N.E. by E.) from Morpeth,
containing 255 inhabitants. It is situated on the north
side of the river Line, across which there is a stone
bridge.
