ELLOUGH, a parish in the hundred of WANGFORD,
county of SUFFOLK, 3 miles (S.E. by S.) from Beccles,
containing 155 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
rectory, in the archdeaconry of Suffolk, and diocese of
Norwich, rated in the king's books at £12. The Earl
of Gosford was patron in 1811. The church is dedicated
to All Saints.
