EYTON, a parish in the hundred of WOLPHY, county of HEREFORD, 2 miles (N.W. by N.) from Leominster, containing 125 inhabitants: The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Hereford, endowed with £400 private benefaction, and £ 1200 royal bounty, and in the patronage of the Governors of Lucton school. The church is dedicated to All Saints. The boys of this parish are entitled to free instruction at Lucton school. The river Lugg runs between this place and Kihgsland.
