FAULKBOURN, a parish in the hundred of WITHAM,
county of ESSEX, 2 miles (N. W.) from Witham,
containing 168 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in
the archdeaconry of Colchester, and diocese of London,
rated in the king's books at £6. 13. 4., and in the patrpnage
of J. J. C. Bullock, Esq. The church is dedicated
to St. Germanus.
