FERNILEE, a township in the parish of HOPE,
hundred of HIGH-PEAK, county of DERBY, containing
422 inhabitants. Thomas Ouff, in 1786, bequeathed an
estate, from the proceeds of which £18 a year is paid
for teaching eight children.
