FERSFIELD, a parish in the hundred of Diss,
county of NORFOLK, 4 miles (W.N.W.) from Diss, containing
325 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the
archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated
in the king's books at £6. 6. 8. Frederick Nassau, Esq.
was patron in 1803. The church is dedicated to St.
Andrew.
