FORNHAM (ALL-SAINTS), a parish in the hundred of THINGOE, county of SUFFOLK, 2 miles (N. N.W.) from Bury-St. Edmund's, containing 305 inhabitants. The living is a rectory with the rectory of Westley, in the archdeaconry of Sudbury, and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £ 19. 10. 5., and in the patronage of the Master and Fellows of Clare Hall, Cambridge. The navigable river Lark runs through the parish. There are the remains of an ancient priory formerly connected with the abbey of Bury, now converted into a dwelling-house.
