FORNHAM (ST-MARTIN), a parish in the hundred
of THEDWESTRY, county of SUFFOLK, 2 miles (N.) from
Bury-St. Edmund's, containing 222 inhabitants. The
living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of
Sudbury, and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's
books at £7. 11. 3. George Hogg, Esq. was patron
in 1814. The navigable river Lark runs through the
parish.
