wapentake of CANDLESHOE, parts of LINDSEY, county
of LINCOLN, 4 miles (S.W.) from Wainfleet, containing
1268 inhabitants. The living is a vicarage, in the
archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the Icing's
books at £15. 6. S., and in the patronage of W. H.
Booth, Esq. The church is dedicated to All Saints.
