GARSINGTON, a parish in the hundred of BULLINGTON,
county of OXFORD, 5 miles (S.E. by E.) from
Oxford, containing 595 inhabitants. The living is a
rectory, annexed to the Headship of Trinity College,
Oxford, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Oxford,
rated in the king's books at £14. 19. 9. The church,
dedicated to St. Mary, is an ancient structure.
