GLAPTHORN, a parish in the hundred of WILLYBROOK,
county of NORTHAMPTON, 1 mile (N. W.
by N.) from Oundle, containing 354 inhabitants. The
living is a discharged vicarage, united with that of Cotterstock,
in the archdeaconry of Northampton, and diocese
of Peterborough. The church is dedicated to St.
Leonard.
