GLENDON, a parish in the hundred of ROTHWELL,
county of NORTHAMPTON, 3 miles (N. W. by N.) from
Kettering, containing 37 inhabitants. The living is
a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Northampton, and
diocese of Peterborough, rated in the king's books at
£8, endowed with £1200 royal bounty. Mrs. Booth
was patroness in 1814. The church is dedicated to St.
Helen.
