GRANGE, otherwise GRENCH, a hamlet, and a
member of the town and port of HASTINGS, in the
parish of GILLINGHAM, locally in the hundred of Chatham-and-Gillingham,
lathe of AYLESFORD, county
of KENT, 2 miles (E. by N.) from Chatham, containing
112 inhabitants. Here was anciently a chapel,
which has been demolished.
