GREATFORD, a parish in the wapentake of NESS,
parts of KESTEVEN, county of LINCOLN, 4 miles (N.W.
by W.) from Market-Deeping, containing, with the chapelry
of Wilsthorpe, 360 inhabitants. The living is a
rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln,
rated in the king's books at £18. 10., and in the patronage
of the Crown. The church is dedicated to St.
Thomas a Becket.
