GREET, a parish in the hundred of OVERS, county
of SALOP, 2 miles (W. N. W.) from Tenbury, containing
79 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in
the archdeaconry of Salop, and diocese of Hereford,
rated in the king's books at £5. Sir H. Edwards,
Bart, was patron in 1823.
