GUTON, a hamlet in the parish of BRANDISTONE,
hundred of EYNSFORD, county of NORFOLK, 3 miles
(S. E. by E.) from Reepham. The name is written Gutheketuna
in Domesday-book, and at the period of the
survey this was a -considerable town, though now entirely
destitute of note.
