HACKFORD, a parish in the hundred of FOREHOE,
county of NORFOLK, 4 miles (W. by N.) .from Wymondham,
containing 222 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
rectory, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese
of Norwich, rated in the king's books at. £4. 15. 10.
George Hunt Holley, Esq. was patron in 1801. The
church is dedicated to St. Mary.
