HARLESTONE, a parish in the hundred of NOBOTTLEGROVE,
county of NORTHAMPTON, 4 miles (N. "W.)
from Northampton, containing 564 inhabitants. The living
is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Northampton,
ind diocese of Peterborough, rated in the king's books
at £20. 9 7. R. Andrews, Esq. was patron in 1809.
The church is dedicated to St. Andrew. On Delves
heath are vestiges of an ancient fortification.
