HARMSTON, a parish in the higher division of the
wapentake of BOOTHBY-GRAFFO, parts of KESTEVEN,
county of LINCOLN, 6 miles (S.) from Lincoln, containing
333 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage,
in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated
in the king's books at £7 6. 8., endowed with £300
private benefaction, and £200 royal bounty, and in the
patronage of Benjamin Thorold, Esq. The church is
dedicated to All Saints.
