HATTON, a parish in the eastern division of the
wapentake of WRAGGOE, parts of LINDSEY, county of
LINCOLN, 3 miles (E. by S.) from Wragby, containing
165 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry
and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's
books at £7. 10. 10., and in the patronage of Col.
Sibthorp. The church is dedicated to St. Stephen.
