HEDDINGTQN, a parish in the hundred of CALNE,
county of WILTS, 3 miles (S.) from Calne, containing 296
inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry
of Wilts, and diocese of Salisbury, rated in the king s
books at £8, 14. 4. The Rev. S. Rogers was patron
in 1800. The church is dedicated to St. Andrew.
