HEPWORTH, a parish in the hundred of BLACKBOURN,
county of SUFFOLK, 4 miles (W. by S.) from
Botesdale, containing 523 inhabitants. The living is
a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Sudbury,
and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at
£ 13. 17. 3., and in the patronage of the Provost and
Fellows of King's College, Cambridge. The church is
dedicated to St. Peter.
