HETHERSETT, a parish in the hundred of HUMBLEYARD,
county of NORFOLK, 3 miles (N. B. fey E.)
from Wymondham, containing 927 inhabitants. The
living is a rectory in medieties, with the rectory of
Cantelose, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese
of Norwich, rated in. the king's books at £8, and in
the patronage of the Master and Fellows of Caius
College, Cambridge. The church is dedicated to St.
Remigius.
