HEYDON, a parish in the southern division of
the hundred of ERPINGHAM, county of NORFOLK, 3
miles (N. N. E.) from Reepham, containing 333 inhabitants.
The living is a rectory with Irmingland, in
the archdeaconry and diocese of Norwich, rated in the
king's books at £9. 16. 10. W. W. Buhner, Esq. was
patron in 1786. The church is dedicated to St. Peter.
