HIGHWAY, a parish in the hundred of POTTERNE-and-CANNINGS,
though locally in the hundred of Calne,
county of WILTS, 4 miles (N. E.) from Calne, containing
108 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy,
with the vicarage of Bremhill, in the archdeaconry of
Wilts, and diocese of Salisbury. The church is dedicated-
to St. Peter.
