HOGSTON, a parish in the hundred of COTTESLOE,
county of BUCKINGHAM, 3 miles (S. E. by E.) from
Winslow, containing 188 inhabitants. The living is a
rectory, in the archdeaconry of Buckingham, and diocese
of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £ 11.16. 3.,
and in the patronage of the Provost and Fellows of
Worcester College, Oxford. The church is dedicated to
St. Peter and St. Paul.
