HOLME (EAST), a liberty (extra-parochial), in the
hundred of HASILOR, Blandford (South) division of the
county of DORSET, 2 miles (S. W. by W.) from Wareham,
containing 42 inhabitants. Here was formerly a
cell subordinate to the Cluniac priory of Montacute
in the county of Somerset.
