The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £6. 13. 4., endowed with £200 royal bounty, and in the patronage of the. Bishop of Norwich. The church, dedicated to St. Mary, was built by Henry de Nottingham, one of the council of the duchy of Lancaster.
