HOMINGTON, a parish in the hundred of CAWDEN-and-CADWORTH,
county of WILTS, 3 miles (S. W. by S.)
from Salisbury, containing 177 inhabitants. The living
is a perpetual curacy, endowed with £200 royal bounty,
and in the peculiar jurisdiction and patronage of the
Dean and Chapter of Salisbury. The church is dedicated
to St. Mary.
