HONING, a parish in the hundred of TUNSTEAD,
county of NORFOLK, 3 miles (S. E. by E.) from North
Walsham, containing 268 inhabitants. The living is
a discharged vicarage, united with that of Dilham, in
the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich,
rated in the king's books at £4. 13 4. The church is
dedicated to St. Peter and St. Paul.
