HORSFORD, a parish in the hundred of TAVERHAM,
county of NORFOLK, 5 miles (N. N. W.) from
Norwich, containing 512 inhabitants. The living is a
discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry and diocese of
Norwich, rated in the king's books at £4. 5. 2., endowed
with £200 royal bounty. Viscount Ranelagh
was patron in 1812. The church is dedicated to All
Saints.
