HULLAVINGTON, a parish partly in the hundred of CHIPPENHAM, comprising the tything of Surrendral, but chiefly in the hundred of MALMESBURY; county of WILTS, 4 miles (8. W. by S.) from Malmes- bury, containing 506 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Wilts, and dio- cese of Salisbury, rated in the king's books at £6. 13., endowed with £200 private benefaction, and £200 royal bounty, and in the patronage of the Provost and Fellows of Eton College. The church is dedicated to St. Mary.
