HUNNINGHAM, a parish in the Southam division of the hundred of KNIGHTLOW, county of WARWICK, 5 miles (N. W. by N.) from Southam, containing, exclusively of the hamlet of Hydes-Pastures, 193 inhabitants. The living is a vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Coventry, and diocese of Lichfield and Coventry, rated in the king's books at £5, endowed with £300 private benefaction, £200 royal bounty, and £200 parliamentary grant. Chandos Leigh, Esq. was patron in 1820. The church is dedicated to St. Margaret.
