IRBY-upon-HUMBER, a parish in the wapentake
of BRADLEY-HAVERSTOE, parts of LINDSEY, county
of LINCOLN, 6 miles (S. W. byW.) from Great Grimsby,
containing 217 inhabitants. The living is a rectory,
in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated in
the king's books at £18. Lord Yarborough was patron
in 1814. The church is dedicated to St. Andrew.
