IRBY-in-the-MARSH, a parish in the Wold
division of the wapentake of CANDLESHOE, parts of
LINDSEV, county of LINCOLN, 5 miles (B. by S.) from
Spilsby, containing 78 inhabitants. The living is a
perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry and diocese of
Lincoln, endowed with £ 1000 royal bounty, and in the
patronage of the Dean and Chapter of Lincoln. The
church is dedicated to All Saints.
