KENNINGTON, a chapelry partly in the parish of
RADLEY, and partly in that of SUNNINGWELL, hundred of
HORMER, county of BERKS, 4 miles (N.E.) from Abingdon,
containing 171 inhabitants. The chapel, dedicated
to St. Swithin, fell down some years since, and has been
recently rebuilt.
