KEW (ST.), a parish in the hundred of TRIGG, county of CORNWALL, 4 miles (N. E. byN.) from Wade Bridge, containing 1218 inhabitants. The living is a vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Cornwall, and. diocese of Exeter, rated in the king's books at £19.11. Of., T. Pitt, Esq. was patron in 1777. The church, dedicated to St. Kew, has considerable remains of painted glass. There is a small sum for the instruction of children. The river Camel, on the south of this parish, is navigable to Padstow and the Bristol channel.
