county of BUCKINGHAM, 3 miles (E. by N.) from Thame,
containing 204 inhabitants. The living is a vicarage, in
the archdeaconry of Buckingham, and diocese of Lincoln,
rated in the king's books at £8. 10. 5., and in the
patronage of the Dean and Chapter of Rochester. The
church is dedicated to St. Nicholas.
