KIRMINGTON, a parish in the eastern division
of the wapentake of YARBOROUGH, parts of LINDSEY,
county of LINCOLN, 8 miles (N.) from Caistor, containing
243 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage,
in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated in
the king's books at £4. 18. 4., and endowed with £600
royal bounty. Lord Yarborough was patron in 1812.
The church is dedicated to St. Helen.
