FRODINGHAM, a parish in the eastern division of the wapentake of MANLEY, parts of LINDSEY, county of LINCOLN, 85 miles (W. N. W.) from Glandford-Bridge, comprising the townships of Bromby and Scunthorpe, and containing 406 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Stow, and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £12. 16. 8., and endowed with £200 royal bounty. - Healey, Esq. was patron in 1827 The church is dedicated to St. Lawrence.
