LANGRICK-VILLE, a chapelry in the soke of HORNCASTLE, parts of LINDSEY, county of LINCOLN, containing 195 inhabitants. Langrick-Ville was, with six other districts, created a township, by act of parliament, in 1812, on the occasion of a very extensive drainage of about fourteen thousand acres of Wildmore, and the eastern and western fens, and is not dependent on any parish. A chapel has been erected here, and was consecrated in 1818.
