LANTEGLOS, a parish in the hundred of LESNEWTH, county of CORNWALL, 1 mile (W. S. W.) from Camelford, containing, with the borough of Camelford, 1256 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, with the perpetual curacy of Advent, in the archdeaconry of Cornwall, and diocese of Exeter, rated in the king's books at £34. 11. 3., and in the patronage of the King, as Prince of Wales. The church is dedicated to St. Lanty. The river Camel runs through the parish. Here is an endowed school.
