LEADENHAM, a parish in the wapentake of LOVEDEN, parts of KESTEVEN, county of LINCOLN, 9 miles (N. W. by W.) from Sleaford, containing 574 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £29. 12. 8. The Rev. Thomas Brown was patron in 1822. The church, dedicated to St. Swithin, is partly in the decorated, and partly in the later English, style, and has a tower and spire of elegant proportions.
