LEAKE (WEST), a parish in the southern division of the wapentake of RUSHCLIFFE, county of NOTTINGHAM, 2 miles (E.) from Kegworth, containing 211 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, with which that of East Leak is united, in the archdeaconry of Nottingham, and diocese of York, rated in the king's books at £25. 4. 7., and in the patronage of the Marquis of Hastings.
