LEASINGHAM (SOUTH), a parish in the wapentake of FLAXWELL, parts of KESTEVEN, county of LINCOLN, 2 miles (N. N. "W.) from Sleaford., containing 259 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, to which that of North Leasingham was united in 1726, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £13. 2. 8. Sir J. H. Thorold, Bart, was patron in 1786. The church is dedicated to St. Andrew.
