LENCH (CHURCH), a parish comprising the hamlets of Atch-Lench and Sheriff's Lench, in the lower division of the hundred of BLACKENHURST, and partly in the upper division of the hundred of HALFSHIRE, county of WORCESTER, 5 miles (N. by W.) from Evesham, and containing 342 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Worcester, rated in the king's books at £9 11. 10., and in the patronage of the Crown. There is a place of worship for Baptists.
