LETHERINGSETT, a parish in the hundred of HOLT, county of NORFOLK, 1 mile (W. by N.) from Holt, containing 251 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £ 12. Mrs. Burrell and another were patrons in 1826. The church is dedicated to St. Andrew. The river Glarvin runs through the village, and there is a brewery on its banks.
