LEXHAM (EAST), a parish in the hundred of
LAUNDITCH, county of NORFOLK, 6 miles (N. N. E.)
from Swaffham, containing 186 inhabitants. The living
is a discharged rectory, united with that of Litcham
in 1742, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Norwich,
rated in the king's books at £8. 6. The church is
dedicated to St. Andrew.
