LINGWOOD, a parish in the hundred of BLOFIELD,
county of NORFOLK, 2 miles (W. S.W.) from Acle,
containing 292 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual
curacy, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Norwich,
endowed with £1000 royal bounty. The Rev. E.
Goddard was patron in 1816. The church is dedicated
to St. Peter.
