LLANTRISSENT, a parish in the upper division of the hundred of USK, county of MONMOUTH, 2 miles (S. by E.) from Usk, containing 271 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Llandaff, rated in the king's books at £6.8.9., and endowed with £200 royal bounty. The Rev. John Saunders was patron in 1798. The church is dedicated to St. Peter, St. Paul, and St. John.
